50 & Fabulous is a portrait project created to celebrate women 50 and beyond through beautifully styled, editorial portraiture and the stories behind the women themselves.
This is not about turning back time.
It is about being photographed exactly where you are now — with all the confidence, beauty, strength, experience and individuality you have earned along the way.
The Experience ($350)
Your portrait experience is designed from beginning to end so you never have to wonder what to wear, how to pose or what to do in front of the camera.
- A personal planning and styling consultation to design your session
- Guidance on wardrobe, colours, accessories and the overall look of your portraits
- Professional hair and makeup
- A fully guided editorial portrait session at Blair Ann Studios
- Multiple looks and styling changes
- Expert posing and direction throughout your session
- Your private image reveal and ordering appointment
- One fully retouched portrait of your choice
- Participation in the 50 & Fabulous portrait project
You do not need to know how to pose. You do not need to feel “photogenic.” That is my job.
I will guide you through every part of the experience so that you can simply step in front of the camera and allow yourself to be seen.
Your Portraits
At your private reveal, you will see your finished portraits and select the one portrait included with your project participation.
If you fall in love with more, additional portraits and collections are available to purchase.
There is no requirement to purchase anything beyond your included portrait (typical client investment around $2000)

Where it began
Before 50 & Fabulous, there was the 40 Over 40 Project. Fifty women joined me to celebrate their stories through portraiture, and we brought their photographs together for a gallery exhibit at the studio. It was a beautiful reminder of what happens when women choose to be seen and celebrate one another.

I am currently welcoming applications from women 50+ who would like to participate in the next chapter of the 50 & Fabulous Portrait Project.
