Why Verity?

Founded 23 years ago in the heart of downtown Toronto, Verity is a private women’s club created to give women a space to connect, network, recharge, and support one another — without compromise.
It’s a place built with intention.
From the art on the walls to the feel of the rooms, every inch of Verity is designed with women in mind.
Photographing women in a space made for women makes every portrait that much more powerful.
As both a member of Verity and the owner of Blair Ann Studios, I’ve seen firsthand how this space brings out something unique in each woman I photograph. It’s graceful without being stiff, elegant without being performative. And it creates a kind of portrait that feels as real as it does elevated.
At Blair Ann Studios, my in-studio sessions are polished, styled, and editorial, but Verity adds something different. It gives your portraits a sense of natural lifestyle beauty. Surrounded by textured walls, curated bookshelves, velvet lounges, and historic charm, we’re able to create scenes that feel like moments from your real life.

Wardrobe & Styling Session
Held at my Port Credit studio or virtually. You’ll have access to the Blair Ann Studio Closet, with timeless pieces, luxe textures, and wardrobe styling that blends beautifully with Verity’s spaces.
On-Location Photoshoot at Verity
We’ll photograph in curated interiors, the library, boardroom, lounge, using soft window light and gentle direction to capture a story that feels both personal and powerful.

Styled Beverage Moment

The “Tableaux” Portrait Series

Reveal & Ordering Session
2–3 weeks post-session, we meet in-studio to review your portraits and select your favourites for artwork, digital use, or both.
